Edinburgh Festival Rooms is a curated directory of licensed accommodation for the Edinburgh festival season. We list properties that hold a current City of Edinburgh Short-Term Let licence, and we send you to the operator or booking platform of your choice. We don’t take bookings.
Who we are
EFR shares an operator with Edinburgh Festival Jobs. The two sites share design language and audience but are otherwise independent.
The directory grew out of operating a licensed short-term let on Dundee Street through several festival seasons. We know first-hand how badly served performers and visitors are by generic OTAs — especially anyone staying for more than a week, anyone with a tight venue commute, or anyone working in the festivals.

How we make money
Featured listing slots (a clearly-labelled paid promotion above standard listings). A verification badge product for operators. Newsletter sponsorship for the operator-side newsletter.
We don’t charge consumers anything. We don’t run third-party advertising. We don’t share your data.
